The Italian professional skier learned to ski at the age of three, took part in his first race as a six-year-old and dreamt of becoming a downhill skier.
As a young racer he felt at home in the fastest disciplines of downhill and Super G. It was not long before he enjoyed success in the Europa Cup leading to his World Cup début in 2008. Since the 2009/10 season he has been a regular part of the World Cup scene.
Paris took part in 4 Winter Olympic games and 8 World Championships, where he won 2 medals.
His greatest successes are his 6 downhill victories in Bormio and 3 downhill wins in Kitzbühel. A further milestone in his career was taking first place in the overall Super G standings in the 2019 season.
Over the years, he has enjoyed many more individual victories in the World Cup and is Italy’s best downhill skier in history.
